As an expat and international worker of 20+ years I travel a lot and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great place. Whenever I need to be in that part of the world again, I know exactly where to book.

Centrally located in the historic city of Durham, Hotel Indigo Durham occupies Old Shire Hall, on Old Elvet, just 5 minutes from Durham Railway station and 400 metres from Durham Cathedral and Castle.... The building is beautiful, the room was super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and served in a gorgeous dining room. The staff was kind and helpful. I highly enjoyed my stay at the indigo hotel and would recommend it to enyone visiting Durham!
