It's like an upscale American motel, I loved it. The staff was super kind and accommodating! The bed was comfortable, the airconditioning worked well, and the water pressure & temperature were good 👍 The cafeteria is great, it has a nice romantic atmosphere even though it's right beside the highway.

Not much to see or do in the town but it is quite Small and conveniently located close to several other places of interest eg: Jaen, Baeza, Úbeda.
The prettiest place in Mengibar is the main town square where this beautiful hotel was located. Also s good stop over place between Malaga/Granada and Madrid. Y
The hotel has a good restaurant serving mostly local and Spanish dishes.

Mengibar is a small, provincial town very close to the motorway heading south to Granada and the Costa del Sol so convenient for an overnight stay. The hotel and Plaza de la Constitution have some historical interest.
Fran! the manager was amazing! patient, helpful and cheerful, he is a huge attribute to the hotel and excellent in customer service. The room he gave me was beautiful, peaceful, large and I slept very well. I had room service, the food was quite good. The property itself is lovely and heritage; I am sure the history is very interesting. I was not expecting that quality to the price ratio. The value was amazing.
Location is right in the main square of Mengibar.
Very close to the Jaen, Ubeda and Baeza.
It’s literally a former palace.
The food in the restaurant is also delicious.
For its price, I dont think I have stayed in such a nice hotel.
The hotel is beautiful. the room we stayed in was very comfortable and has a very nice bathroom with good shower water pressure. The staff was attentive and very friendly. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
Interesting old building, but with modern comfort. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. They have a good chef. Mengibar is good for an over night stay as there is nothing of interest in the town.
Beautiful authentic historical hotel with a great restaurant. close to other restaurants and bars. great service also. I would highly recommend staying here!
The hotel is very beautiful as a refurbished ‘palace’.
The room facilities were excellent and the hotel also has a convenient restaurant with a courtyard
