The room was quite spacious, the bed large and quite comfortable. The whole hotel setting was amazing. Just be ready for some gravel roads to get there. The whole stay was perfect and just wished I could stay a bit longer. The pool area very relaxing. It was perfect for our 9 months baby, as parts of the pool had some very shallow areas.

We went their to celebrate a birthday, they went the extra mile and sent us a bottle of bubbly and dessert to the room. The gentleman at the reception also booked us in the best restaurant in the area A Tasca, you must go there. It was a very chilled and easy stay and would definitely go back there again.

It was exactly what we needed! The room was big enough, the staff super friendly, everything was tidy and clean, it was with a very relaxed vibe and space for our 3 year old to explore play and enjoy. The breakfast was with enough variety and very good. We're happy we found it :)

The design, decor, cleanliness, furnishings, gardens and facilities were first rate. The grounds are beautifully planted and tended and the lighting at night is spectacular. The staff were top notch and attentive and the owner was fantastic. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, wonderful tasty breakfasts, great location for superb quiet beaches and plenty of choice for local restaurants serving great seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Bicycles provided free for guests were a real bonus. We had a most relaxing four nights at Amaria, it was brilliant.

This place was amazing after a long day of hiking. The room was very clean, the location was excellent, and the included buffet breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend staying here; I certainly will if I ever find myself in the area again.
