Oliver and Patricia are amazing. This property is amazing, it's an apartment big enough for 2 or more. It has a pool. Olivier delivers fresh hot pastries and bread to your room every morning. Papaya, their dog greets you every morning. The property is beautiful and one top of a hill - great views. We were there 2 nights and slept great. I told Oliver next time I'll come for a month. merci beaucoup. obrigata

Staff are very friendly. The room I stayed in was nice but basic, good for the price though. Nice pool area too.

Salema is a lovely unspoilt village with a beautiful beach, several good restaurants, and a few shops. It is surrounded by natural beauty, wonderful hiking trails and convenient access to Sagres and the Atlantic coast.

From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow.
From villa not really walkable as street so very narrow. Path not suitable for older folks or those with mobility problems. Had to drive. Good restaurants, beach and coffee shops. Grocery store close .
Easy drive to other beaches and towns for exploring.

The street closest to the beach where we stayed was the best 'old world' part of Salema. Other parts can be less aesthetically pleasing but the whole place is less fussy and busy than other coastal spots like Luz or Lagos. A quiet place worth 2 nights. Restaurant options good too, even in winter.

I loved this beach!
I loved this beach! It was so picturesque and uncluttered with commercialism. The water was a little too cold for us to swim, but it was a beautiful to stroll along the beach. Although this was a small beach, there were plenty of restaurants.

Quiet fishing village, not touristy.
Quiet fishing village, not touristy. Beautiful beaches and views of the ocean. Friendly people, good restaurants, lots of fresh fish. Easy to get around if you are wearing sturdy shoes as lots of steps and steep paths into the village from Salema Beach Village, however, there is a shuttle service from the hotel if required.

I deliberately chose to stay in Salema as I was looking for a small, pristine beach/fisherman g location - and I found it all there!
Salema has preserved its authentic self despite the tide of tourism that has engulfed other parts of the Algarve.
The beach is big enough to absorb many visitors without being full. The sand is beautiful and sunsets are of course very special.
The village has some very good restaurants, a gelateria and lots of cute shops.
And who doesn’t want to live, even temporarily, on Rua dos Pescadores!
The location is wonderful. We were lucky to have the breakfast served at the room due to covid limitations, and it turned out to be an unexpected value adding experience. Our room has sea views on the 4th floor and we really had a wonderful time every morning over breakfast enjoying the lovely view over the beach. The breakfast itself was very complete and over expectations, same for the staff working at the hotel, always kind, smiling and ready to help. A place to repeat no question about it
We had originally booked three nights here but after seeing how wonderful everything was, we extended our visit by five more nights! It's a fabulous 2 story townhouse only a couple of blocks from the beach and centre of the Salema village. There's a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and WC on the main floor and two full bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms on the lower floor. There are also patio areas on both floors and even a rooftop patio!
This was one of the most beautiful campings of our lives. We stayed in the tipi-tents in the middle of nature with a cosy and warm athmosphere. It's a unique quiet camping close to salema beach, best reachable by car.
Every wednesday, friday & saturday there's good live music at the restaurant, which is also very pleasant for a good diner or breakfast, and affordable.
There is a small eco supermarket we're you can buy very fresh bread and good pastery.
We have been visiting these lovely apartments since 2007. They have everything you need for a holiday in Salema (unless you plan to do a lot of cooking at home as there is no oven)With all the lovely local restaurants we eat out most of the time so the 2 hot plates, kettle, toaster and microwave are fine for us.Esmerelda and Paula in Reception are wonderful. The pool is lovely and everything is very clean. We will be back asap
The location is fabulous!! It’s within walking distance to Salema centro. Nice restaurants, friendly and helpful locals and the beach!! Just gorgeous.
Maria has had a lot of upgrades done and the tile work and plaster have been skillfully upgraded.
There is an ocean view from the east facing bedroom and a nice private terrace with the same view.
Very very comfortable accommodations overall.
The first thing was simply the view from room 20. Simply stunning.
The house itself was amazing, we stayed in a 3 bed townhouse.
The pool was great for a late afternoon chill after the beach.
Salema is beautiful and has plenty of choice for food and drink.
We played padelboard on site which was great fun.
Free use of beach/ pool towels came in handy everyday!
Great hotel just steps away from the beach. The rooms were large and comfortable, with a perfect-size kitchen to help with breakfasts and lunches. We didn't get to try the pool because it was too cool in the autumn, but it looked refreshing. Nice touches like the clothes-drying rack and the balcony overlooking the beach. I hope we get to return one day!
Great location, a short stroll down to beautiful Salema Beach, great restaurants and bars.
Our apartment had fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and fitted out with fresh linen. Parking was readily available on-site (a real bonus in Salema).
We had a lovely sea view from our balcony and enjoyed coffee with pastries each morning in the on-site cafe.
Nice breakfast basket of pastries every morning and very nicely stocked mini fridge with milk, OJ and butter. Good coffee machine that made BIG cups! All in all, breakfast in the garden by the pool was a highlight. The place was close enough to the beach, but far enough to be very quiet. Salema’s beach not overcrowded like the others to the East.
I loved everything about this place! It’s an entire house and very comfortable in an amazing location. The beds are super comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Our stop at the Salema Beach House completely restored us during our 12 day trek. I can’t say enough about the accommodations and the host. Both were exceptional. Thank you! Thank you!
We really recommend Romantick Villa as a great place to stay. The setting is beautiful with a lovely peaceful garden. The host is extremely kind, helpful and thoughtful. Salema is a great base for exploration to the many beautiful, unspoilt beaches nearby.
I loved everything about this place. The views, the smooth check-in and out process, the modern touches and finishes, the welcome snacks and wine, and the lovely town of Salema. It was painful to leave such a beautiful place!
Salema is a little gem… the apartment was beautifully decorated with everything one needs for a comfortable beach holiday. Vanessa and Josef are just lovely and very accommodating. It’s a very professional company.
Fabulous view, swimming pool was lovely and not too busy. Villa exceeded our expectations, it even had a little rooftop terrace. Salema was nice, we had some wonderful meals out and the beach was very nice.
Food is always good at the Atlantico restaurant below the hotel. The location is brilliant, right on the beach. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
