Location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town of Ubeda, next to one of the main streets. Room was very large and comfortable. Historic hotel. Staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating. If there was an issue, it was resolved immediately (how to work the heating...)

Beautiful hotel, spacious room with sitting area, friendly staff, walkable to many restaurants.
I accidentally left my refrigerated medication in our room when we left. The front desk called me within 10 minutes of our departure to let me know. I am so grateful for this.

A lovely place! There were few tourists so it was possible to really enjoy the sites. Attractions are very close to each other and the most important ones can be covered in a day or two. It is highly recommended to make the 15 minute trip to Baeza, which is smaller but utterly charming. My two favourites: The Sinagoga del Agua (a must) in Úbeda, and walking the surroundings of the Cathedral and the Walls in Baeza. The journey there is also beautiful, as Jaen province is delightful.

Ubeda is a beautiful little city with loads of great things to see, the walls, churches, town hall etc. and local shops/galleries. There is also a huge range of restaurants and eateries (a great ice-cream shop) the views of the surrounding area are stunning. I would recommend staying within the old town walls, a little bit more expensive but worth it for being near to everything by foot.

Doesn't have the tourism magnetism like Córdoba or Granada, but especially if you have to cross nearby, it is worth to spend a day in Ubeda, Baeza and Jaen area.
Represents a different architecture, different landscapes, a more pristine way of living, with less tourism friction

Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza.
Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza. Both must be seen. You can ask for a tour guide (different spots in the center town) or do a tour on your own but you may miss out on some important information about the historic structures, the "patrimoine" the heritage buildings. One quick point: although our guide was very savvy and knowledgeable, I found the two and a half hours of the tour a bit heavy in Ubeda: too much info and not enough time to satisfy my curiosity when visiting. On the other hand, the Baeza tour guide was also savvy and knowledgeable but he gave us time to appreciate the historic buildings. To eat in the South of Spain is like saying "where is the fridge in this house" - there are eatery places, from cafés, bars, restaurants for every liking and budget. One does not need a car to get around Ubeda. There are always things to do anywhere you look.

The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason.
The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason. They are also working actively to bring more sites to the fore. You can get the best selection of teas, needed in the cold days; best at Bar Las Flores, tiny with good prices. Can't list all the sites, there are too many. We did the free walking tour, in Spanish only, starting at the office in Calle Real 13 - excellent guide with very clear diction.

An incredibly interesting place to visit.
An incredibly interesting place to visit. There are historic buildings on every corner of the old town. It is a joy just to wander about looking.
As it is not easy for me to walk far it was a delight to take the tourist train, ensuring that we missed nothing. I was pleased to see many of the beautiful old buildings preserved tastefully as hotels. There were plenty of restaurants and bars around and free tapas too, as it is in Jaén
The hotel is very beautiful and the pool is amazing, although it is in need of some renovations for sure. The staff was very accommodating and very nice. It is a very quiet space and the rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. It's a shame the bar would close at midnight and there was nothing else.you could order to drink or eat, but the rooms have a mini fridge so you could buy some drinks or food and keep it in the rooms which was pretty nice.
If you come to Ubeda with your own car, this is a very convenient location, just outside the old city wall and still within 5 minutes walking distance from the main sights. The highlight of our trip was to visit the owner’s pottery workshop. Ubeda has hundreds of years history with the ceramics. We visited very old pottery studio and got to make our own. The owner is very helpful and sympathic guy.
it is a beautiful house which is the old family home of the owner , filled with paintings antiques tapestries. and each bedroom is unique. Pepe is a delightful host who is very helpful and provides an excellent breakfast . Highly recommend . There is outside parking near to the hotel and an underground park near to the nearby square
Very modern hotel with large room and comfortable public rooms. A 15 minute walk from the historic centre but, offsetting this, there was limited free street parking and, apparently, paid for hotel parking (though we did not need to use this).
Breakfast was exceptional both in terms of quality and in presentation.
The room was large, and very comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom facilities were super. The hotel is in a perfect location for wandering around the town and close to some very good restaurants.
And I have to mention the armoured knights in the balcony areas - nice touch.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is in the centre of Úbeda, so it was perfectly located for walking around the interesting city.
The room was a splendid example of pink Renaissance decoration. The breakfast was a good experience, with very kind service.
The Parador is located in the heart of the old town and ideal for sightseeing. The building itself forms part of the towns rich heritage. It has a good restaurant showcasing some of the areas best produce - dishes and service were excellent and the prices very reasonable.
Beautiful place, great location, very good and kind service, the staff was very helpful.
It is a small city and from the parador you can get almost every where just walking.
The room was big, confortable and clean.
And very important have air conditioning.
Historic bed and breakfast located in quiet older section of Ubeda. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has many choices; some items are not on the menu like fruit and cheeses that you can ask for. Walk up Calle Real for other dining options.
Very clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, clean and rationally equipped bathroom. Friendly staff and excellent location. Two free of charge parking lots nearby and one for charge. Some streets are very narrow, just to be aware
Very clean comfortable hotel. Readily available off street parking.
Plumbing worked fine. Good internet.
I would definitely book here again if I went back to ubeda for a few days
Very good value for.money.
The hotel has free public parking just around the corner, which is a big plus among the narrow streets that surround it. The rooms were modern and comfortable, and the breakfast outstanding.
The location was amazing, very close to the historical parts of Ubeda. I thought the apartment was so charmingly decorated, very comfortable and spacious. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Nice old hotel in the middle of everything. Underground parking, extra $, was nice to have. Room was small, only a TV. Breakfast was really good, and the staff do a great job.
