Espinho is small & quiet.

Espinho is a great City but there needs to be an upgrade of abandoned properties which ruins the overall good feeling of the City. Location is great for going to Porto, Santa Maria De Feira or Carcavelos.

A small coastal town with a pretty well known Casino. Very much experiencing gentrification, but it still retains its local charm and culture. Plenty of restaurants to suit both high and low budgets, and above all, a place with a stunning sunset.

Great location with a wonderful beach and good views out to sea. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Good range of quality restaurants and bars. Great for walking along the promenade and / or beach morning or evening, I especially enjoyed the quiet and peace in the mornings before breakfast. I wouldn't call it a right place for tourist.The only decent thing there is a beach. However we were missing normal amenities you would expect to find on proper beach like toilets and changing cabins,e.c. The city itself has not much to offer apart from few nice restaurants and bars.We couldn't find a single bike rent - that is ridiculous.There are no wellness centers with swimming pool,saunas,e.c. around.AleksandrLithuania

Clean, spacy apartment (nice bathrooms). The local representative (Sonja) was very nice asking pretty much every day (by WhatsApp) if all was ok ! We highly appreciated the Guide Booklet in the apartment which provides guidance to local Restaurants, shops, breakfast cafeterias, etc. Nice boardwalk in front of the apartment for lenghty, relaxing walks.

There were little things, like TV channels, screaming fast internet, a nice book collection, that were a pleasant surprise. The people in Espinho are some of the nicest people we have met. The Monday market which is only a few blocks away is simply Epic! We read that it is the largest street market in Portugal and has been going for over 120 years. It was huge.JeffreyPortugal

We liked kitchenette were you have electric kettle, microwave, utensils and everything else so you can make yourself cup of coffee or tea or heat pizza. Beach is across the little road just few steps away, and goes far in both directions. I would recommend to stay in this a very nice place to anybody.
