Featuring a rooftop lounge with panoramic Porto and Douro River views, 5-star Porto Palacio has a luxurious spa with massage rooms, squash court, fitness centre and an indoor pool. The room was spacious with all the basic needs, the bed and pillows and the bathroom were excellent. Breakfast was incredibly good; did you use the Gym, and it was exceptionally good as well. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent Reception guy was very helpful

Situated on Porto’s Avenida da Boavista, Portus Cale Hotel offers bright, air-conditioned rooms and a daily buffet breakfast. The Douro Riverfront is just 2 km from the hotel. We were a group of 35 people and had a great stay at Portus Cale. The staff was wonderful and we had every wish for filled. We would choose the hotel again. 🙂

Situated at 10 minutes’ walk from the Douro River, HF Tuela Porto is located in Boavista, just 3 km from Porto's historic centre. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. This is a large but personal hotel out of the centre of the busy area but close enough to walk to the tourist areas and old Porto. Restaurants can be found close by including a very good seafood restaurant.

Situated a 1-minute walk from Boavista Avenue, the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa offers spacious rooms and a modern spa. Absolutely best service, attentive but not intrusive. Good breakfast, with everything you’d expect in Sheraton, including fruits and local pastries. Great in -room restaurant service (we tried vegetable risotto and soups and can recommend those!). SPA: very good massage, spacious sauna and hammam, big warm pool (children allowed from 1-7PM, and the water is very comfy for long stay in water). Elevators in the building are an amusement of their own - super fast, with views on ocean from the upper floors. Location: it’s in the middle between city center and ocean, about 20 minutes by public transport each direction. And we liked this a lot! Also, big thank you goes to room service - our children went wild and made the room dirty in many ways, but after daily cleaning it seemed was as nothing happened.

Located on the Avenida da Boavista, in the heart of the city’s business and cultural district, the modern Crowne Plaza Porto exudes pure luxury and comfort. The room was comfy, though it could have more power connections available at hand. The spa was great, and the massage experience was wonderful. The staff was very kind.
