For the very modest price of this B&B, all we were hoping for was a decent room for two night's sleep, dedicating our travel budget to excursions for exploring and discovering the amazing Lençóis Maranhenses. We were delighted with the charm and attention to detail of this small inn, beginning with our arrival from Atins by boat at their exclusive pier. Admittedly, the rooms are small and bare bones, but clean and supplied with fresh, fragrant white linens. There is no reason to spend any time in your room with the pleasing grounds and common spaces the hotel offers. The staff was friendly and above and beyond helpful. The breakfast included in the rate was delicious, varied and plentiful. The hotel's emphasis on sustainability was appreciated, providing filtered drinking water in glass bottles free of charge, and bins to collect recyclables. The riverside location was ideal: an easy 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and strip of restaurants, bars and shops, and just far enough not to be bothered by noise.

Well, I was very sick and unfortunately I couldn't do all the tours, but Dal and all the crew took amazing care of me. They were frequently asking if I needed anything else, mostly they would provide some coconut water, which helped me a lot. Oh, you guys should definitely go to Coco Loko, is a kiosk from the owners, there you can also find an extended version from Acquamarina family with lunch and drinks. Bed was so confortable and the Moskitonetz is definitely worth it! Last but not least, the breakfast is made with love, you can have fresh fruit, juices, cake and loads of delicious regional food. Thanks again for everything and hopefully till soon, because anyway, I didn't get the chance to enjoy the lençois at the fullest. 💜
