Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

The hotel is right at the entrance in Kiruna, from south, and it has a very imposing architecture, the bar at the 12th floor offering an amazing view until far distance. At the ground floor there are the lounge/bar and the restaurant, with great food options (buffet for breakfast and a-la-carte for dinner). Also there is a gym at 11th floor with basic but enough utilities for most needs. at 12th floor there's a sky-bar which exceeds the view and I fully recommend. The room was very spacious and with comfy beds, nice and clean bathroom. The daily cleaning is not by-default, if you need cleaning one day you need to ask at the reception. A special mention for the very helpful and supportive staff, both at reception and at bar/restaurant. We really liked it and fully recommend!

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, the Icehotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. Clean, quiet, and spacious room, tea corner, wide windows at the corner with forest view. The room is in the small house. Good restaurant in walking distance. Friendly staff, explained to us all about the surrounding activities. Ice museum included in price. Excellent breakfast.

We stayed in a hostel bunk room with shared bathroom. Bunkroom and beds comfy, clean and roomy. Shared bathroom very clean. Great options for self catering or eating at the 2 restaurants. Just loved it, can’t wait to go back.

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. Very good hotel, breakfast was very good, they offer also a very good lunch for great price. They have great are to read / relax / work, so you could even work here during the day and go chasing northern lights at night :)

SPiS Hotel & Hostel is just 150 metres from Kiruna’s main street, Föreningsgatan. It provides free WiFi and a free sauna and relaxation area. It was right next to the bus station and the breakfast is amazing. Also you only have to pay for the tablets to do your washing
